Expectation was above and beyond. Let’s start from the beginning. Steve, who is the owner of the contractor for the company showed up to give us a FREE ESTIMATE. My husband and I explained to him what we want, what we are looking for and how much we are willing to spend on the project. Our project is for a dormer on both sides of the house because we live in a cape cod property. Let’s just say, my husband is one of those men that does not trust any contractors coming in the house or even hiring them. Steve went ahead and explained to us there is a separate fee for architect/floor plan drawing and he won’t know the exact fee for the planning but he did give us a price range of it. Of course like most contractors they “have a guy or work with someone”. He also explained to us whatever fee is left over from the architect drawing will be going toward the construction. It all sounds good to us. So I’m thinking, me “the wife” we will let Steve go and then I will talk to my husband about the offer and see if we will be able to meet the price that he’s offering. To my disbelief, my husband accepted Steve’s offer so quickly, my mouth was to the floor. Let me say this again. MY HUSBAND TRUST NO CONTRACTOR AND REFUSES TO HIRE ANY CONTRACTOR. I kid you not, he hired Steve within a flash. Steve workers showed up and did an outstanding job, knocking everything down extremely quickly. The plan was for them to finish in a week but I don’t know how they did it but they finished within 3 days. As for sidings, our particular color that we wanted was back ordered but it was okay but we waited and it was absolutely worth the wait. What I like about Steve is the fact that he may have a lot of work booked and not there at the job site the whole day however, he makes it his duty to come in at the job site to check in, plus at the end of the day when his workers are done for the day he make sure to call in and do a check up on what we think of the project so far to see if we are happy with the work that is being done. The checking is mainly to give us an idea of what to expect and even adjusting a few things. We will definitely rate him and his team 5 Star and even 10 stars. At the end of the day, his work speaks for himself! I would definitely recommend him and his team to anyone deciding on remodeling their home. By the way, the price was right and he managed to make it work around our budget. Excellent work and thank you to Steve and his team for a job well done!
